Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering with Sporting Rugby FC. By joining the club you agree to be bound by these terms.
Registration
- All players (boys and girls) who express interest in joining Sporting Rugby (academy or team) will be invited to a free trial training session to help parents and players decide whether to join the club.
- Once a player decides to join, they will register online through the Sporting Rugby website, complete the registration form and pay the appropriate fee.
- Registration fees should be paid on the registration day.
- When joining the Sporting Rugby Teams, fees can be paid as a one-off payment or in two instalments (agreed with a club representative) for annual membership.
- Monthly subscription fees are paid over 12 months at the rate shown on the chosen package. Monthly payments for the Christmas and Easter breaks must be processed in full.
- If a player leaves the club voluntarily or involuntarily, all outstanding fees must be paid in full. A minimum of one month's written notice is required.
Uniforms
- When joining the club for the first time, uniforms will be provided as a gift by sponsors. In subsequent years, kit costs are the responsibility of the player's family.
- Players must wear the Sporting Rugby training uniform at all training sessions.
Teams & Academy (U3–U13): Yellow and blue uniform with Sporting Rugby logo, plus team tracksuit top.
Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Action
- Each parent/guardian and player must abide by the Club's Code of Conduct, which must be signed upon registration.
- Should a player fail to follow a coach's instructions during a training session or game, they will receive a Yellow Card. A second Yellow Card in the following session will result in the player being unable to attend the next competition or match.
- A Red Card may be issued for severe behaviour including swearing, physical aggression, or racial comments. A Red Card results in suspension for the next tournament or two matches. Parents will always be informed.
Teams
- Coaches reserve the right to determine which team each player will play in.
- Teams (U7–U13) will be registered to play within the leagues.
- Players must attend at least one training session per week to be eligible to play in league games.
- Once registered for the season, the club's preference is that the player remains a member until the end of the season to avoid disruption to the team.
Training
- Training sessions are held based on the fee option chosen, unless otherwise advised by the club.
- Players must attend all training unless the coach has been notified of absence due to illness or other essential commitments.
- Parents, carers, and family members are not permitted inside the training ground (pitch) during training sessions.
Membership Cancellation
- Membership will be cancelled immediately if there is a severe or repetitive breach of the FA Code of Conduct or Anti-Bullying policy.
- Members wishing to cancel must communicate this to the coach or, if unavailable, the Club Secretary.
- All verbal cancellations must also be confirmed in writing by email to info@sportingrugbyfc.com.
- All outstanding fees must be received before the player leaves the club.
Football Camps — Registration
- A booking confirmation email will be sent automatically after applying, but this does not guarantee a place. Your booking is only secure once full payment has been processed.
- All applications are subject to acceptance and must comply with any specific requirements outlined on the website.
- If you do not receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours, please contact the club directly.
By applying for a football camp place, you confirm that: (a) you are legally capable of entering binding contracts; (b) you are at least 18 years old; and (c) your application is in a personal capacity and not for resale.
